Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Bradenton, FL is seeking an Interventional Radiology IR Tech (Multi-Modality) to perform routine radiographs and minimally invasive procedures under radiologist supervision.

Ideal candidates have AMA-approved Radiologic Technology training, FL license, ARRT registration and CPR/BLS certification; acute care experience preferred, with strong communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Formal radiologic training in an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Acute care experience preferred; new graduates will be considered.
• ARRT registration in good standing preferred.
• Florida license mandatory to practice.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine radiographs and minimally invasive procedures.
• Operates radiology equipment following safety guidelines.
• Assists radiologists under supervision and applies prescribed ionizing radiation.
• Performs duties as assigned within the radiology department.
