Job summary

X-Ray Associates of New Mexico in Albuquerque is seeking a Full Time Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. You will prepare patients for procedures, assist radiologists during exams, maintain sterile technique, and operate imaging equipment to secure high-quality diagnostic images.

You will also help with inventory, scheduling, documentation, and compliance with HIPAA and safety standards while delivering compassionate patient care in a fast-paced procedural environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registered or registry eligible.
• Current New Mexico Certified Radiologic Technologist License required.
• CPR Certification required.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment.
• Experience in Interventional Radiology preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists during interventional procedures.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures in a professional and compassionate manner.
• Maintain sterile fields and assist with specialized procedural equipment.
• Operate radiographic equipment and obtain high-quality images.
• Monitor patients during procedures and communicate changes in patient condition.
• Prepare and process specimens for pathology when required.
• Maintain inventory of catheters, guidewires, stents, and procedural supplies.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately.
• Participate in call coverage as assigned.
• Support quality patient care while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and safety regulations.
