Medical City Dallas is seeking a Special Procedures Tech PRN to support interventional radiology procedures, ensuring radiation safety and appropriate IV contrast administration in a fast-paced environment. This role requires ARRT registration, Texas MRT, and BCLS, with a focus on patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support Required
• State Registered Radiologic Technician
• MRT State of Texas
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) Required
• Certified Vascular Interventional Radiology must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• Associate Degree
• Graduate of AMA approved school of radiology technology
• 2+ years experience in IR preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides care to assist Interventional Radiologist in Specials Radiology procedures.
• Ensures Radiation safety.
• Administers IV contrast in a surgical/radiological setting.
