Job summary

Mercy in Fort Smith, Arkansas seeks an experienced Radiology Imaging Supervisor to lead daily operations of the Hospital Imaging Services Department and the Outpatient Center. You will supervise staff, ensure quality patient care, and coordinate workflows across facilities.

Under the Imaging Manager, you will provide performance feedback, cover clinical areas as needed, and travel to off-site imaging centers.

Qualifications

• Education: Accredited Radiology Program completed.
• Experience: 3–5 years in hospital/outpatient imaging; lead/supervisor role.
• Certifications: ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist and BLS.
• Travel: Will drive to off-site imaging centers.

Supervises the daily operations of imaging procedures in the Hospital Imaging Services Department and Outpatient Center as well as the activities of personnel involved in providing these services. Under the supervision of the Imaging Manager, is responsible for the day-to-day operations for the deaprtments. Provides feedback to co-workers in the form of performance appraisals. Traveling to various facilities is required as is the ability to cover in the clinical areas as needed.

Position Details:

• Education: Successful completion of an accredited Radiology Program.


• Licensure:


• Experience: Three to five years' experience in a hospital/outpatient imaging setting. Prior Lead Technologist or Supervisor experience.


• Certifications: Registered radiological technologist (ARRT) Basic Life Support (BLS)


• Other: Employee will be required to drive to off-site imaging centers.
