Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN) – Locum Tenens Travel Nursing Job in Corpus Christi, Texas. This 13-week travel nursing assignment offers hands-on experience in a state-of-the-art neurointerventional cath lab at a leading medical center in Corpus Christi. Key Job Details – Interventional Radiology RN

• Location: Corpus Christi, Texas 78412
• Facility: Neurointerventional Cath Lab at a leading Corpus Christi medical center
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250–$2,310 per week
• Assignment Type: Locum tenens, travel nursing contract
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 9/1/2025 – End: 12/1/2025)
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours/week
• Unit: 1 neurointerventional room
• Patient Ratio: 1 patient per 2 RNs and 1 Tech
• Equipment: Siemens Artis Icono 2.0 Biplane
• EMR Systems: Meditech, MergeHemo

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state (required)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an Interventional Radiology RN or Neurointerventional Cath Lab nurse
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required for all IR RN jobs)
• Preferred: Experience with cerebral embolization, thrombectomy, AVM embolization, carotid stenting, and fluoroscopy of the spine and head
• Strong commitment to patient care, safety, and clinical excellence
• Empathetic, ambitious, and collaborative team player

Responsibilities

• Assist with neurointerventional and interventional radiology procedures, including cerebral embolization, thrombectomy, AVM embolization, carotid stenting, and fluoroscopy
• Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure safety and comfort
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and nursing staff to deliver high-quality healthcare
• Accurately document patient information and procedure details in EMR systems
• Float to other interventional radiology areas as needed to support clinical operations
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and dress code (uniforms provided)
