Job summary

Thisiscny in Syracuse, NY is seeking an IR Radiological Technologist to perform routine diagnostic procedures under supervision and may train others, with attention to patient age-specific needs. The role requires ARRT certification, NYS license/eligibility, CPR, and contrast injection registration within specified timeframes.

Primary hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–5:30 pm; full-time position within TH Medical Radiographer/Interventional Radiology context.

Qualifications

• AAS in Radiologic Technology or equivalent is required.
• NYS license/registration or eligible.
• ARRT certification must be obtained within 12 months of appointment.
• Registration for Contrast Injection must be obtained within 3 months of appointment.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic radiology procedures under general supervision.
• Lead and train other staff as needed.
• Identify patient age-specific requirements and adapt procedures accordingly.
• Willingly perform other duties as requested.

Education

AAS in Radiologic Technology

NYS license/registration or eligible

ARRT certification (must obtain within 1 year)

Contrast Injection registration (must obtain within 3 months)
