Job summary

VC Stack in San Francisco is seeking a proactive individual for a role within their Global Fund Banking team. This position requires managing client relationships, supporting the Relationship Management team, and engaging in new business development with Venture Capital firms.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree with sales and relationship support experience, or equivalent experience for those with a high school diploma. Familiarity with systems like Outreach.io and an understanding of the Venture Capital ecosystem are preferred.

Job description

Responsibilities

This role within the Global Fund Banking team will work directly with the Relationship Management team and report directly to the Head of the group, supporting efforts in managing client relationships and new business development. The team is responsible for new business development and expansion of existing relationships, as well as delivering a wide range of banking solutions for Venture Capital Firms.

Key job functions include maintaining CRM and client‑interfacing systems like Outreach.io, and ensuring client lists and contacts are kept up to date. The VP will help the RMs in their sales process with clients and prospects, including meeting prep, managing client follow‑up, and updating management information systems.

The role will also involve interfacing and partnering with other cross‑functional teams at the Bank, including Portfolio Management, Sales Operations, Relationship Advisors, FX, etc.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of sales and relationship support experience, or High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of experience.

Preferred Skills

• Revenue or Sales Operations experience in a Venture environment
• Working in a team environment and ability to work with various stakeholders.
• Interest and understanding of the Venture Capital ecosystem.
• Private fund structure and formation understanding is a plus
• Ability to think like an owner, with a solid growth mindset.
• Attention to detail.
• Good systems aptitude, with prior experience with Tableau, Outreach.io, and MicrosoftCRM ability to drive efficiencies and scale.
• Ability to multi‑task and work independently in a dynamic environment.

Compensation

The base pay for this position is relative to your experience but the range is generally $150,000 – $185,000 annually. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non‑discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
