Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, KS, seeks an Interventional Technologist PRN to perform IR imaging procedures across multiple settings within the Radiology department. The role emphasizes patient safety, accuracy, and collaboration with physicians, nurses, and support staff.

You will contribute to Quality Improvement efforts, training students when applicable, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Formación

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Two-year program or four-year BA in Radiology Technology with interventional training.
• ARRT certification or eligible with exam completion within 9 months of hire.
• BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
• Minimum 1 year hospital interventional radiology experience.
• Accurately complete interventional requisitions.
• Experience with Radiology information systems.
• Safely operate interventional equipment including contrast injectors.
• Strong communication with patients, physicians and staff.
• Maintain composure in stressful situations while performing duties.

Responsabilidades

• Perform a wide variety of IR imaging procedures on schedule and on-call.
• Work in IR and related areas such as OR, Vascular Lab, or Hybrid OR as needed.
• Assist with training/evaluation of Radiology students.
• Interface effectively with departments, physicians, staff and patients.
• Participate in Performance/Quality Improvement activities.
• Follow department, facility, and HCA policies and safety guidelines.
• Comply with Joint Commission and regulatory requirements.
