Job summary

UofL Health in Louisville is seeking an Interventional Technologist to scrub in and assist in IR procedures. You will position patients, prepare exam trays, set exposure parameters, and help obtain high-quality images while prioritizing patient safety.

You will maintain radiation safety standards, manage equipment and documentation, and collaborate with the IR team to support accurate diagnostics. Requirements include ARRT registration, KY Radiation Operator's certification, BLS, and IR Registry

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered with ARRT and KY Radiation Operator’s certification.
• BLS certification required.
• IR Registry within 2 years of employment.
• Prefer 2 years of recent radiography experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in IR procedures and prepare exam trays with sterile technique.
• Position patients and select exposure parameters per protocol.
• Produce and evaluate images for diagnostic quality.
• Maintain radiation safety and imaging equipment.
• Document paperwork, logs, and charges in systems.
