Stanford University’s OB/GYN department seeks a Life Science Research Professional 1 to assist with stem cell projects for pelvic floor disorders. The role covers hiPSC reprogramming, differentiation to smooth muscle progenitors, and preparing cells for injection in animal models to aid regeneration.

The LSRP1 will train staff, manage supplies, and work under a scientist for design while performing experiments independently when scheduled.

Qualifications

• Assist hiPSC reprogramming, expansion, banking and characterization.
• Differentiate hiPSCs to smooth muscle cell progenitors for injections.
• Train new researchers in basic protocol and FACS analysis.

Responsabilités

• Work independently with scientist for experimental design and troubleshooting.
• Order supplies and prepare reagents for lab use.
• Manage time efficiently across multiple projects.
