Job summary

Deloitte's Capital Markets Transactions team seeks a Manager to oversee IPO, SPAC readiness and execution engagements within our Accounting & Reporting Assurance practice. You will lead multiple workstreams, mentor staff, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery across diverse client engagements.

The role requires deep US GAAP knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to manage complex projects while traveling up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of public accounting or equivalent experience, ideally within a public accounting and/or advisory environment.
• 2+ years of experience in managing and supervising teams.
• Deep understanding of capital markets transactions (e.g., IPOs, SPACs, and other equity/debt offerings).
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting background.
• Proven ability to lead complex, multi-threaded projects with competing priorities.
• Strong and up-to-date technical knowledge of US GAAP accounting standards.
• CPA/CFA/CRISC/PMP or related certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of IPO, SPAC, and other CMT advisory engagements.
• Manage multiple workstreams, providing technical guidance and project oversight.
• Identify opportunities and participate in proposals and marketplace activities.
• Lead IPO readiness and execution engagements, including planning and milestones.
• Mentor staff and contribute to performance reviews and training.
• Assist clients with financial disclosures and SEC documents.
• Oversee budgets, engagement economics, and resource allocation.
• Travel up to 50% may be required.
