Job summary

Forterra is seeking an IPC-620 Cable Manufacturer to join our team in Clarksburg, MD. You will build, assemble, and test cables and wire harnesses, following IPC-620 standards to ensure top quality and performance.

The role requires hands-on soldering, crimping, and reading schematics, with a focus on quality and safety. On-site work, occasional overtime may apply, with a comprehensive benefits package for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• IPC-620 E certification or willingness to obtain.
• Experience as Cable Manufacturer or similar with IPC-620 knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, solder, and wire cable assemblies per IPC-620 standards.
• Read and interpret schematics, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform quality control checks against client specs and industry standards.
• Test completed cable assemblies for functionality and safety.
• Identify and resolve issues in cable assembly processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe workspace.
• Follow procedures for efficient, accurate cable assembly.
