AMAROK in Columbia, SC is seeking a Technical Security Systems Specialist to configure, program, test, and validate security components for customer deployment, including cameras, switches, wireless devices, and workstations. The role partners with Production, TAG, R&D, and Installation to ensure projects are delivered on time and to spec.

Ideal candidates bring problem-solving skills, experience with IP-based security systems, and strong documentation habits. Working hours are 9:00am-5:00pm EDT.

Qualifications

• Experience with IP-based security systems and cameras.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and wiring diagrams.
• 1–2 years related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Configure, program, test, and validate security systems for deployment.
• Review docs and scopes to prioritize production timelines.
• Perform quality checks and troubleshoot issues to ensure readiness.
• Collaborate with Installation, Production, TAG, R&D, and Procurement.
• Provide technical support during deployment and post-installation.
• Maintain accurate programming and documentation for operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement and engineering changes.
• Maintain safety and stay updated on security tech and standards.
