Base pay range

$40.00/hr - $45.00/hr

Support data network growth and expansion by formulating projects to procure and install Ethernet switching and IP routing hardware, software, and connectivity. This role blends telecommunications and IT infrastructure planning to ensure successful network deployments across enterprise and service environments.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical knowledge of networking in a hybrid telecom/IT service environment
• Develop equipment installation plans, coordinate hardware procurement, manage shipments, and initiate circuit or connectivity requests
• Ensure successful handoff and deployment by collaborating with implementation and field services teams
• Manage project intake and prioritization in line with service-level expectations and key performance indicators
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and technology teams to support new technology rollouts
• Independently manage assignments while aligning with internal processes and standards

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent education and experience
• 3–5 years in network engineering, telecommunications, or infrastructure planning
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented and quick to learn new tools, systems, and procedures
• Technical knowledge of transport and routing technologies at enterprise or provider scale
• Effective time management; capable of managing multiple projects concurrently
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across various business levels
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar business tools
• Bonus: scripting, data analytics, or database administration experience
