Qualifications

• 2 to 5+ years of active patent prosecution.
• J.D. from an accredited law school; a technical degree strongly preferred.
• USPTO Registered Patent Practitioner (or patent bar eligible) and licensed to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Hands-on experience with computer circuits, multiprocessor design, telecommunications, semiconductor technology, or software architecture.
• Strong legal writing and understanding of patent litigation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead all stages of U.S. and foreign patent prosecution, interviewing inventors.
• Conduct validity, infringement, and freedom-to-operate (FTO) studies and prepare opinion letters.
• Counsel clients on overall patent strategy, licensing, trademarks, and copyright matters.
• Collaborate with partners, senior associates, and support staff to deliver sophisticated case management across tech sectors.
