The ideal candidate will have experience in patent litigation and be skilled in handling trial preparations, motions, depositions, expert reports, and discovery management. Duties

• Handle patent litigation cases from inception through resolution
• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and expert reports
• Conduct and defend depositions of expert and fact witnesses
• Manage discovery processes, including document review and e-discovery strategies
• Assist in trial preparation and courtroom advocacy
• Work collaboratively with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies

Requirements

• 2-5 years of IP litigation experience, preferably in a law firm setting
• Experience with trial, motions, depositions, and discovery management
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent legal research, writing, and communication abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

Active membership in a state bar with the ability to practice in Washington, DC (or willingness to seek admission)
