Job summary

FDR Consulting Group seeks a Life Sciences attorney in New York or Boston to counsel biotechnology and pharmaceutical clients, investment firms, and academic research institutions.

You will draft, review, and negotiate clinical trial and other R&D agreements, identify strategic goals, prioritize key issues, and develop solutions in collaboration with clinical, R&D, and senior management teams.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of transactional experience at a law firm and/or in-house legal department.
• Familiarity with biology and chemistry principles relevant to pharmaceutical design and function.
• Familiarity with the regulatory framework for therapeutic development and commercialization.
• Understanding of intellectual property licensing and biotechnology business development practices.
• Excellent legal drafting, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Candidates will directly with clinical, R&D, and senior management teams at biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, contract research organizations, academic institutions, and research hospitals.
