Job summary

O Trucking LLC seeks a CDL-A step deck truck driver to haul tall freight across Iowa, including Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, Davenport and Sioux City. Drop-deck trailers with low deck height support equipment up to 10'2" tall, with upper deck 11–13 feet. 24/7 dispatch is available; load selection is flexible.

Pay ranges from $0.85 to $1.60 per mile; specifics are confirmed before placement. Must have clean MVR/CSA, oversize-load permit knowledge, and a $1M liability COI.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license with clean MVR and CSA records.
• Experience handling over-dimension loads.
• Understanding of oversize load permit requirements.
• Insurance COI with $1M minimum liability.

Responsibilities

• Haul step-deck and drop-deck freight across Iowa routes (Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, Davenport, Sioux City).
• Ensure compliance with permits and safety regulations for oversize loads.
• Coordinate with 24/7 dispatch to select appropriate loads and maintain on-time deliveries.
