Job summary

Bomgaars is seeking a friendly Sales Associate for the Feed department in Fort Dodge, IA. This full‑time, onsite role offers hourly pay and a focus on helping customers find the right feed products while ensuring a clean, stocked department.

You’ll handle freight, operate pallet jacks, assist customers, and support store operations. The job emphasizes excellent service, flexibility for days/evenings/weekends, and a shift premium on weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Product knowledge - feed
• Retail and Cashier experience preferred
• Reliable transportation
• Must be able to lift 80 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for long periods of time
• Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
• Must be available to work flexible schedules - days, evenings, weekends (shift premium paid for work weekends)

Responsibilities

• Freight handling includes loading/unloading trucks
• Forklift operation/Pallet jacks (varying weather conditions)
• Maintain Outside Lot
• Sales/Stocking/Recovery
• Ensure department is clean, organized, and well stocked
• Assisting customers with product selection and load outs
• Handling phone calls
