Job summary

IDR, Inc. is seeking a Firmware Developer to join our client in Suwanee, GA, delivering firmware for advanced IoT devices. Develop, test, and optimize embedded code, focusing on reliability and performance.

You will collaborate with STMicro and Realtek MCU teams, implement bootloaders, drivers, and secure communications (BLE, Wi‑Fi, TLS/HTTP) across SPI, I2C, and UART. This is a full‑time role with competitive compensation and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in embedded C/C++ programming with a strong understanding of IoT protocols like MQTT and TCP/IP.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain firmware for IoT devices, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with our client's team to work with STMicro and Realtek microcontrollers.
• Write and optimize embedded C/C++ code, focusing on bootloaders, device drivers, and communication protocols.
• Ensure the reliability of BLE, Wi-Fi, encryption, and various communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, and UART.
