StreamLabs, Inc. is seeking an Embedded Systems Test Automation Engineer to drive the quality of our next-generation smart IoT products.

You will design and implement automated tests for embedded platforms, working with hardware, firmware, and software teams to ensure robust product validation across global markets. You will develop test frameworks, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, analyze results, and maintain comprehensive documentation while supporting manual testing for edge cases.

Qualifications

• CI/CD experience and automation tooling
• Experience with embedded hardware/firmware testing
• Strong programming in Python and some C/C++

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for embedded systems using Python (and C as needed)
• Design and implement test frameworks for embedded hardware and firmware validation
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to define test requirements and strategies
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous product validation
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with engineering teams to resolve issues
• Create and maintain detailed test documentation and reports
• Support manual testing efforts for complex or edge-case scenarios
• Ensure test coverage for new features, regression, and performance
• Troubleshoot hardware/software integration issues in test environments
