Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on IT experience (routers, switches, APs, firewalls; IP addressing; firmware updates).
• Comfortable with hardware setup, connections and troubleshooting devices.
• Basic networking knowledge: IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, Wi‑Fi, routers and switches.
• Strong attention to detail and methodical troubleshooting steps.
• Able to follow written procedures and keep organized records.
• On-site work in Hood River, OR five days a week.

Responsibilities

• Configure, commission, and test IoT gateways, sensors, and meters following documented procedures.
• Connect devices to networks, apply settings, and verify communications before shipping.
• Update firmware and troubleshoot devices that fail testing.
• Record serial numbers, configurations, and test results in our systems.
• Contribute to writing and improving step-by-step procedures and checklists.
• Provide basic IT support at the Hood River office as needed.
