Apple Wallet Engineering seeks proactive software engineers to join a multi-team environment spanning Transit, Access, Identity, and Provisioning, Core Wallet Experience, and First Party Products. You will ship features for Wallet and Apple Card, with exposure to NFC/UBW and high-scale services, in San Diego, Cupertino, and New York.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of strong programming skills, preferably with Swift and/or Objective-C.
• 2-5 years of user-interface programming experience.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
• Passion for product quality and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle dynamic project priorities.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, performance optimization, and memory management across OS software layers.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience developing on iOS, macOS, and/or watchOS.
• Experience incorporating AI tools into the development process.

Responsibilities

• As an engineer on our team, your responsibilities will range from high-level user interfaces to writing background processing and networking code, to developing frameworks used by other teams at Apple and third-party developers.
• We collaborate closely with the other iOS engineering teams, human interface designers, diverse groups across Apple, and our partners at other companies.
• You will tackle unique technical challenges at a global scale, working to deliver innovative solutions for millions of users while maintaining the performance and privacy standards that define Apple products.
