Job summary

Beacon AI in San Carlos, CA seeks an iOS Software Engineer to join our mobile team and help build high-impact iOS applications that support our flight safety platform.

You will collaborate with senior engineers, designers, and product managers to develop user-facing features, work with real-time data, and contribute to production systems, improving safety and efficiency. This hybrid role offers onsite three days a week with remote options.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of iOS development experience.
• Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI; some UIKit exposure.
• Familiarity with async programming and concurrency patterns.
• Experience with networking and consuming real-time data sources.
• Strong problem-solving and eager to learn in a fast-moving team.
• Ability to collaborate with designers and product managers.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement iOS features using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and modern iOS frameworks.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to build reliable, high-performance mobile apps.
• Integrate with internal and external APIs to support real-time data and functionality.
• Work with designers and PMs to deliver intuitive mobile experiences.
• Participate in code reviews and follow iOS best practices and architecture patterns.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability through testing and documentation.
