LinkedIn is hiring an iOS engineer to design and deliver user-facing features for the native LinkedIn iOS app. You will leverage Apple frameworks to ensure smooth, responsive experiences across devices and screen sizes.

You will build scalable mobile apps with LinkedIn's internal libraries, implement architectural trade-offs, and contribute to a strong CI/CD pipeline. The role emphasizes quality, code reviews, and engineering leadership in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 1+ years of industry experience.
• Programming experience in Java, C/C++, Python, Objective-C, Swift, etc.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute user-facing features for the native LinkedIn iOS app using mobile OS frameworks for multi‑threading, persisting data and UX across screen sizes.
• Use cutting edge Apple technologies and libraries to build responsive native iOS apps.
• Build scalable native mobile apps using LinkedIn's internal libraries.
• Make architectural trade-offs with synchronous and asynchronous design patterns; write code with speed and quality.
• Create a robust CI pipeline to enable build and test for iOS apps at LinkedIn.
• Produce high-quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in for CI.
• Provide technical leadership and drive large-scale cross-functional engineering programs.
• Identify and evangelize opportunities to improve engineering productivity.
