Qualifications

Job Summary

Comcast Technology and Product Experience (TPX) is seeking an experienced iOS Developer to join the Connected Living Camera Client Engineering team. This group is responsible for customer‑facing mobile application development for Comcast’s Home Security Camera product offerings. This includes the native iOS and Android Xfinity application, which primarily handles our cloud‑enabled Internet Gateway for millions of homes but is expanding to become Comcast’s primary mobile app with new features such as bill pay. Job Description

Comcast Technology & Product Experience (TPX) is seeking an iOS Engineer to join the Connected Living Camera Client team. This team builds camera and video experiences within the Xfinity app – used by millions of customers to monitor and manage their homes.

You will help develop features that power real‑time video streaming, playback, and device interactions as the Xfinity app continues to expand into a broader, all‑in‑one customer platform.

What You’ll Do

Required Qualifications
  • 4+ years of professional iOS development experience
  • Strong proficiency in Swift
  • Experience building and maintaining native iOS applications

  • Strong debugging and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross‑functional team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with video or media playback (e.g., AVFoundation, HLS, WebRTC)
  • Experience with SwiftUI, Combine, or async/await
  • Understanding of iOS app lifecycle, background execution, and permissions (camera, microphone)
  • Experience working on large‑scale, consumer‑facing applications
