Job summary

Apple is seeking an iOS Engineer to build on next generation identity product and platform within the Apple Pay Security Engineering team in Cupertino. You will work on securing authentication and identity features across Apple’s products and services.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of iOS experience in Swift or Objective-C, a strong interest in security, and excellent collaboration with multiple teams. The role may involve cryptography and secure UI work across diverse platforms.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of iOS app development experience in Swift and/or Objective-C.
• Interest in security, digital signatures and PKI.
• UI programming experience with SwiftUI and/or UIKit.
• Strong communication across teams and ability to work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

Description

We're looking for an iOS Engineer to build on next generation identity product and platform. Since we are building and improving our truly groundbreaking products it would be helpful to have a strong interest and curiosity in one of the following areas: Identification, Authentication, Security and Cryptography. Experience with low level programming language is also a plus and will be useful in developing additional security features of our products. Collaborator with strong communication skills will play a significant part in working multi-functionally with other teams at Apple and external partners.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of iOS app development experience in Swift and/or Objective-CExperience and/or strong interest in security/secure programming, digital signatures and PKIUser interface programming experience with SwiftUI and/or UIKitUnderstanding of computer science fundamentalsAble to thrive in a reciprocal environment and clearly communicate across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Self-motivated, critical, and detail orientedStrong debugging and analytical skillsFamiliar with the ISO 18013-5 standard is a plus Experience developing software with any of the following frameworks is a plus: ID Verifier API , Verify with Wallet APIBS or MS in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent experience.
