Job summary

DraftKings is seeking a Mobile Engineer to shape the iOS experience, delivering high-quality features that reach millions of users. You will collaborate with Design, Product, and Analytics to create reliable, scalable mobile solutions that drive engagement and growth.

Enhance APIs, optimize performance, and participate in code reviews, while embracing AI-assisted development workflows. A Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of iOS Swift experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
• At least 1 year of experience building iOS applications in Swift.
• Familiarity with MVC or MVVM and core OOP/design patterns.
• Strong understanding of API integration, data persistence, and state management.
• Eagerness to learn CI/CD, automated testing, and mobile release processes.
• Attention to writing clean, maintainable code.
• Interest in AI-assisted development workflows; Claude Code or Codex is a plus.
• Effective communication and collaboration in building user-focused mobile experiences.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of high-quality iOS applications that deliver engaging user experiences.
• Write clean, maintainable code using Swift and SwiftUI, following established patterns and practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to build new features from concept to release.
• Assist with integrating APIs, managing data, and optimizing app performance.
• Participate in code reviews and testing to maintain a high standard of quality.
• Leverage AI coding assistants and agents to support development, testing and code reviews, while ensuring code quality and taking ownership of the final output.
• Learn about and apply modern iOS development tools, techniques, and trends.
• Work with your team to troubleshoot issues and improve reliability.
