Job summary

Aiken House in Pittsburgh is seeking a talented iOS developer to design, build, and test mobile apps for a variety of clients across fashion, real estate, tech, wellness, education and more.

You will own full lifecycle development, collaborate with engineers, and ship features with an emphasis on quality and rapid delivery in a startup-like environment.

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
• Proven working experience in software development and iOS.
• Must have published at least one iOS app in the App Store.
• Deep familiarity with Objective-C and Cocoa Touch.
• Experience with Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Text.

Do you have a passion for designing, developing, and testing applications for the iOS platform?

We’re looking for talented iOS developers that are passionate about creating amazing products that give users and amazing experience. In this position, you’ll push mobile technology to the limits and work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications. You will execute full lifecycle software development to create products for clients in a number of industries such as fashion, real estate, tech, wellness, education, and more.

With This Full-time Position, You Will

• Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Qualifications And Skills

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Proven working experience in software development
• Working experience in iOS development
• Have published one or more iOS apps in the app store
• A deep familiarity with Objective-C and Cocoa Touch
• Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Text
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
• Experience working in a startup environment a plus
