Job summary

SquareDev in the United States is seeking a Senior iOS Developer to own the full development lifecycle of iOS apps, from architecture to deployment. You will collaborate with product, design, backend engineers and QA to deliver high-quality features.

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of iOS experience, deep knowledge of SwiftUI and UIKit, RESTful APIs, testing with XCTest, and strong English communication. Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and App Store processes.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of iOS development experience.
• Proficient with SwiftUI and/or UIKit, with modern concurrency (async/await).
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs with iOS apps.
• Deep understanding of iOS frameworks (Core Data, Core Animation, Foundation, URLSession).
• Hands-on with Git and CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with XCTest/XCUITest and test-driven mindset.
• Knowledge of App Store submission, code signing and release workflows.
• Strong English communication.

We are looking for a Senior iOS Developer to take ownership of the full development lifecycle of iOS applications, from architecture and design to implementation, testing and deployment. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers and QA.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Designing, developing and maintaining iOS applications.
• Collaborating with product managers and designers to translate requirements into high-quality features.
• Designing scalable, maintainable architectures and mentoring other developers.
• Writing unit and UI tests to ensure code quality, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
• Optimizing application performance, memory usage, battery consumption, and overall responsiveness.
• Staying up to date with the latest iOS releases, frameworks and Apple Human Interface Guidelines.

To excel in this role, you'll need:

• At least 4 years of experience in iOS development.
• Solid experience with SwiftUI and / or UIKit, Combine and modern concurrency (async/await).
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs with iOS applications.
• Deep understanding of iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Foundation, and URLSession.
• Hands‑on experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions, or similar).
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (XCTest, XCUITest) and a test-driven mindset.
• Solid understanding of the App Store submission process, code signing and release workflows.
• Strong communication skills in English.
