Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking a Senior Mobile Software Engineer (Contractor) to design and implement challenging mobile coding tasks for AI evaluation. Remote work with about 15 hours per week, focusing on cross‑platform, iOS, and Android development, plus architecture and testing.

You will build deterministic verifiers and reference solutions to ensure high-quality assessments. The role requires deep knowledge of mobile lifecycles, state management, and performance optimization, with a strong debugging

Role Title: Senior Mobile Software Engineer

Role Type: Contractor
Location: Remote
Commitment: Approximately 15 hours per week

We are seeking experienced Mobile Software Engineers to support an AI training project by designing challenging coding tasks, building reproducible testing environments, and developing reference solutions. Candidates will help evaluate AI models' ability to solve complex mobile development problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Create challenging mobile coding tasks involving debugging, feature development, refactoring, and performance optimization.
• Build reproducible environments for testing AI-generated solutions.
• Develop deterministic verifiers to assess solution correctness.
• Create reference solutions for each coding task.
• Design problems involving application state, lifecycle management, and asynchronous programming.
• Ensure tasks meet project quality and evaluation standards.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in at least one mobile development track:
  • Cross-platform: React Native, TypeScript, JavaScript, or Flutter with Dart.
  • iOS: Swift, SwiftUI, or UIKit.
  • Android: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, or Android Views.
• Deep understanding of mobile architecture, state management, and application lifecycle.
• Proven debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience optimizing mobile application performance.
• Ability to create reliable tests and reference implementations.

Compensation

Payment is based on completed tasks that meet project specifications. Weekly submission requirements will be shared during onboarding.

• Selection typically takes around 48 hours.
• Selected candidates should be ready to start within 24–48 hours after onboarding.
