Job summary

Mphasis is seeking exceptional Software Engineers with a proven track record in mobile iOS app development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Objective‑C and Swift, a deep understanding of iOS platforms, and a passion for delivering high‑quality software.

You will work with a team of engineers to deliver features and improve existing applications, collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to evaluate and prioritize requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years’ iOS app development experience.
• Proficient in Objective-C and Swift.
• Strong UI programming experience.
• Familiar with SwiftUI and UIKit (AppKit).
• Deep knowledge of iOS design principles.
• Experience with unit/UI/integration testing.
• Solid debugging and memory management skills.
• Excellent problem solving and communication.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, development, and maintenance of iOS apps.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams on feature priorities.
• Refine UI elements with design teams to improve user experience.
• Lead code reviews and ensure code quality and testing.

Experience Required

Minimum of 6 years’ experience in developing feature rich apps for iOS

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong programming skills with object‑oriented programming languages Objective‑C and Swift.
• Expertise with user‑interface programming.
• Proficiency with frameworks such as SwiftUI and UIKit or AppKit.
• Advanced knowledge of iOS design principles and guidelines.
• Expertise in designing software to support unit testing, UI Testing, or Integration Testing.
• Proficiency in debugging and performance optimization concepts such as power management and memory management.
• Excellent problem‑solving, debugging, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of full‑stack applications for iOS platforms.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to evaluate and prioritize new feature requirements.
• Collaborate with design teams to propose and refine user interface elements that enhance the overall user experience.
• Drive code reviews, ensuring that all code is thoroughly tested, well‑documented, and aligns with Apple’s standards.
• Build and maintain tooling to facilitate automated testing, ensuring that all software meets Apple’s standards of reliability and performance.

Preferred Qualification

• Experience with AI ML domain.
