We are currently seeking a phlebotomist to work in a client office. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and be the face of the company. Opportunities for growth within the organization will be provided.

Job Details

• Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm and rotating Saturdays
• Work Location: Huntsville AL
• Benefits: Employees scheduled to work 20+ hours/week are eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), PTO or FTO, Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Casual, PRN & Part-Time employees working less than 20 hours are eligible for the 401(k) Plan only.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Accurately enter patient information and process billing and payments as needed.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service and perform administrative duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency.
• Previous experience as a phlebotomist.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record if applicable.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to pass a color blindness test.
