Job summary

Labcorp in Auburn, AL seeks a Phlebotomist to join our team. Schedule: Mon-Thu 8:00am-5:00pm; Fri 8:00am-3:00pm with 1-hour lunch. Perform venipuncture and capillary collections for all ages, enter data, collect payments and maintain logs.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or 3+ months experience; 1+ year experience preferred with strong customer service and communication skills. Travel to additional sites may be necessary.

• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

LabCorp is seeking a phlebotomist to join our team in Auburn AL. Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm and Fridays 8:00am-3:00pm with a 1-hour lunch.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

• Phlebotomist may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
