Job summary

Love Energy Savings in Lake Charles, LA, seeks a licensed practical nurse to manage admissions for a new program, perform physician rounds, and ensure timely documentation. The role requires accurate medication administration, lab monitoring, and timely billing entry, with emphasis on community outreach.

You will participate in promotion efforts, education activities, and extend marketing reach to a 30–50 mile radius, coordinating with physicians and hospital teams to support patient care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
• Experience in hospital setting helpful.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping abilities.
• Ability to support admissions, med administration and physician rounds.

Responsibilities

• Manage admissions process for new program members.
• Complete physician rounds as needed.
• Complete required documentation timely.
• Manage patient medications prescribed by physician; call in meds as instructed.
• Monitor needed labs for drug levels as needed.
• Complete UR review duties on program members as needed.
• Ensure all billing charges are entered by close of business Fridays.
• Participate in community events to promote the program; market the program within 30–50 mile radius.
