Job summary

UW Health in Madison, WI is seeking an IONM (Intraoperative Neuromonitoring) Technologist I / II to join a high-level patient-care team. The role covers complex monitoring for both adult and pediatric populations across Neurosurgery, Ortho-spine, and Vascular cases. New grads are welcome, with opportunities for growth and on-call scheduling.

You will work at University Hospital with services at other UW Health locations in Madison, with 40 hours per week and day shifts plus on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Minimum - Graduation from an approved Electroneurodiagnostic Technology program OR Credential in Electroencephalography (R.EEG.T)
• Preferred - Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited END program AND two years' experience performing IONM procedures

Responsibilities

• Be part of a high-level, superior quality IONM team delivering patient care.
• Perform complex neuro-monitoring for adult and pediatric patients.
• Support Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics-spine and Vascular procedures with IONM.
• Proficient in all IONM modalities.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.

Job description

Work Schedule: Days, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM with Night/Weekend/Holiday on-call rotation, 45-minute call response time. You may be eligible for up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE). You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI, with services also provided at various other UW Health locations in Madison.

• This position may be eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus
• Additional components of compensation may include:
  • Evening and night shift differential

Qualifications

• Minimum -Graduation from an approved Electroneurodiagnostic Technology program OR Credential in Electroencephalography (R.EEG.T)
• Preferred - Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Electroneurodiagnostic (END) Program AND two years' experience performing IONM procedures

Work Experience:

• Minimum -One year combination of training and experience performing IONM and/or EEG procedures; in lieu of training and experience from educational requirements above qualifies
• Preferred - Two years combination of training and experience performing IONM procedures.

Certifications:

• Minimum - CPR certification
• Preferred - CNIM registry from ABRET (the American Board of Registration of Electroneurodiagnostic Technology)
