Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is required; equivalent combos may be considered.
  • Five+ years in investor reporting, mortgage servicing, financial analysis, or related financial services experience.
  • Experience applying agency guidelines and private investor requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely reporting, reconciliation, and remittance of loan servicing activity to investors and agencies (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, private investors).
  • Monitor and reconcile custodial accounts; research and resolve variances and reporting discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with investor requirements, agency guidelines, regulatory standards, and internal policies.
  • Review, analyze, and validate investor reporting data; recommend corrective actions and improvements.
  • Partner with internal/external stakeholders to resolve issues and support objectives.
  • Lead, train, and guide Investor Reporting staff to drive performance and initiatives.
  • Track KPIs and report results; identify risks to meet deadlines and SLAs.
  • Prepare and present investor reporting metrics, performance results, and updates to management and investors.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation to boost efficiency and controls.
  • Maintain and enhance reporting procedures with QA findings, industry developments, and regulatory changes.
