Job summary

Oaktree Capital Management is seeking an Investor Communications professional to support client meetings, investor inquiries, and collateral development for its direct lending and private credit strategies.

The role partners with investment teams, Global Client Group and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality materials, timely responses, and proactive client engagement. A strong finance background and FINRA readiness are required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of client-facing experience in institutional asset management.
• Strong interest in markets and leveraged finance; ability to communicate clearly (written and verbal).
• Ability to interact with clients, investment teams and investors.
• Strong project management and teamwork skills.
• FINRA licenses (Series 7 and 63) or ability to obtain them quickly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Support preparation for client meetings, ensuring data accuracy and consistent materials across inputs.
• Prepare responses to investor inquiries about portfolios and positioning.
• Coordinate materials for LPAC meetings and co-investment opportunities.
• Contribute to fund brochures and client-facing materials.
• Maintain high-quality execution and attention to detail within a collaborative team.
• Track deliverables and timelines to respond to clients promptly.
