Job summary

Referment is seeking an associate for its investor-relations team to support relationship managers serving institutional investors and prospects, while building understanding of investment capabilities and markets.

The role blends client support with process work, handling investor requests, developing prospecting processes, and growing fluency in capital markets and client priorities in New York.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1–4 years of financial-markets experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication, project management and attention to detail.
• A process-oriented, collaborative approach and confidence working with colleagues at different levels.
• Commercial judgement, initiative and an interest in improving workflows with AI.
• Business-development or relationship-management experience and familiarity with financial terminology are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support relationship managers in cultivating investor and prospect relationships and responding to inbound requests.
• Keep stakeholders informed about relevant strategy and business developments.
• Help design and maintain robust product-development and prospecting processes.
• Manage short-term deliverables alongside longer-running commercial projects.
• Build fluency in investment capabilities, financial concepts, capital markets and client priorities.
