Job summary

Truist in Birmingham, AL is seeking an Investor Accounting and Reporting (IAR) Associate to post payments and disbursement transactions to the loan servicing application and remit payments per lender agreements.

You will balance daily operations, monitor ARM and Bond loans for accurate billing, manage autodraft records, and support the Investor Accounting & Reporting Manager in developing reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent education and training.
• 4 years’ work related experience.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to efficiently and consistently produce accurate and timely work product.
• Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with heavy interaction with teammates and clients.
• Ability to collaborate or work independently.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Mortgage banking and accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Post payment and disbursement transactions to the loan servicing application and remit payments.
• Generate and send lender remittances and reporting for all lender types.
• Facilitate delivery of funds to external clients and other third parties.
• Perform system balancing, clear cash exceptions and cash management functions.
• Daily operations account reviews and high-volume DDA reviews.
• Monitor ARM and Bond loans for accurate billing.
• Maintain records for autodraft payments and excess rent refunds.
• Administer opening and closing of bank accounts.
• Support Investor Accounting & Reporting Manager in development of Investor Reporting Analysts.
