Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Director of Investments to support Financial Advisors and Private Wealth Advisors by developing and overseeing the policy and program that guide client portfolios. This senior role leads investment oversight, reporting, and performance metrics, and collaborates with the FA/PWA/team to align asset allocation with the investment policy.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of work experience in a field relevant to the position.
• Advanced degree or professional certification or prior industry experience.
• Active Series 7 and Series 66 or Series 63 and Series 65 required.
• Additional product licenses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee investment functions and reporting metrics with firm-approved resources.
• Partner with FA/PWA/team on investment managers and asset allocation.
• Establish relationships with investment community for research access.
• Evaluate managers to align with the investment policy.
• Share insights on benchmarks for current asset allocation.
• Participate in client meetings representing the service lens.
• Coordinate business matters for the team and track progress.
• Prepare and review client reports and financial plans for clients.
