Role Overview

Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Investment Vetting Analysts.

This is not a traditional employment role. Analysts operate as independent contractors, activated through our certification and verification process.

Once approved, analysts:

• Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform
• Gain access to real deal flow and paid analytical work
• Support investors, fund managers, and operators in evaluating, vetting, and monitoring potential investments
• Build a verified deal track record and Analyst Rating Score

Certification tiers: Senior Analyst · Lead Analyst · Analyst / Associate Analyst

• Analyst / Associate 60–79 $50–100/hour Entry to mid-level analysts with strong technical and analytical skills

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Depending on your certification approvals, analysts may be engaged for:

• Investment Vetting & Evaluation
• Assess potential investments, deals, and funding opportunities for financial, operational, and strategic soundness
• Conduct initial screening and risk assessment on deal proposals
• Review investment documentation, projections, and financial models for accuracy and feasibility
• Identify red flags, key assumptions, and opportunities for value creation
• Prepare investment memos, summaries, and recommendations for investors or sponsors
• DCF / LBO modeling
• Comparable company and precedent transaction analysis
• Sensitivity and scenario analysis
• Football field valuation summaries
• Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis
• Operational and market diligence
• Risk assessment and mitigation support
• Analysts may only perform work in categories they are approved for. Approvals are earned through assessment and performance—not tenure.

How Analysts Start Earning

Complete the Analyst Certification Assessment or approved training

Get verified on the platform

Begin earning income immediately through hourly projects and live deal work

To qualify, you must meet at least one of the following:

• Score ≥70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
• Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training
• Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)

Analyst Rating Score

Each analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:

• Visibility on the platform
• Approved work categories
• Recommended hourly rates

Compensation & Deal Terms

Analysts are independent contractors, not employees

Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level

Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees

Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction

Payments issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection

Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality or compliance issues
