Job summary

Baird’s Private Wealth Management Investment Solutions team seeks an Investment Solutions Specialist to partner with Financial Advisors, Branch Associates, and Portfolio Managers. You’ll help with information on platform solutions and assist in day-to-day management while developing guidelines, tools, and best practices.

You’ll directly support Advisory Solutions, Lending & Liquidity, Investment Products, and Alternative Investments, building strong relationships and addressing immediate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3 years of relevant experience in financial services
• SIE, Series 7 & 66 licenses required within 18 months of start date
• Strong client service skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to learn and navigate firm technology platforms

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert on platform solutions for Financial Advisors and Branch Associates
• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers and other partners to implement process and service enhancements
• Maintain familiarity with platform offerings and support day-to-day management of multiple solutions
• Address operational issues in coordination with the field and internal partners
• Assist with mapping recruits to appropriate products and services

About The Role

The Investment Solutions team within Baird Private Wealth Management plays a key role in ensuring that Baird Financial Advisors have the tools and capabilities across the entire managed investment platform necessary for delivering great outcomes for our clients. The Investment Solutions Specialist is responsible for partnering with Financial Advisors, Branch Associates, Portfolio Managers, and other Key Partners seeking general information on the solutions available across the platform and will gain valuable first-hand experience in assisting with the day-to-day management of multiple solutions. The Specialist will work with various areas of the firm to develop guidelines, tools, and best practices in support of the business, and will also incorporate external and internal feedback to support improved standards of service and processes with the guidance of the Investment Solutions team.

The Impact You'll Make

• Serve as a subject matter expert to Financial Advisors, Branch Associates, Portfolio Managers, and other Key Partners to educate them on general inquiries about the platform
• Work with Baird internal partners, the branch network, and associates within Investment Solutions to implement process and service enhancements
• Assist in managing relationships and maintaining in-depth familiarity with the broad platform in support of Baird Financial Advisors and Portfolio Managers
• Assist in addressing immediate operational issues regarding the platform with the field
• Assist with mapping Financial Advisor recruits into appropriate products and services
• Handle account-level exception requests from the field
• Partner with Branch Consultants for educational and networking services.
• Perform any other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring To Baird

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• 3 years of relevant experience
• SIE, Series 7 & 66 licensed required within 18 months of start date
• Ability to learn and effectively navigate Baird's Private Wealth Management technology platforms (Thomson ONE, ValueOne, Envestnet, etc.). Exceptional client service skills including both written and verbal
• Strong computer skills, including proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Utilizes artificial intelligence tools to modify processes or improve decision making
• History of delivering consistent, high quality performance
• Strong organizational skills - ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to act as a team player, assisting others in the department when necessary is mandatory
• Possesses a high attention to detail
• Ability to lead discussions and presentations
• Strong analytical skills
