Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking a Finance Expert to evaluate AI-built financial analyses on real corporate scenarios, verify valuation assumptions, and explain accounting behind them. You’ll trace how numbers flow through three-statement models and identify misalignments that could mislead decisions.

Ideal candidates have professional experience in corporate finance or FP&A, with fluency in clear English and no degree requirement.

Job description

Models can build a three-statement model that looks clean and still get the mechanics wrong: a balance sheet that doesn't balance, working capital that flows the wrong way, a circular reference silently zeroed out. Someone has to trace the numbers back through the logic, and that someone is you.

As a Finance Expert you'll evaluate AI-built financial analyses on real corporate scenarios, check the valuation assumptions and the accounting behind them, and write the judgments that teach models what defensible finance work looks like.

Compensation

Up to $40 – $125+/hr depending on task difficulty and specialization. Many contributors add $10k–$100k+ a year; some make it their full-time income.
