Job summary

Columbia University in the City of New York seeks an Analyst (Investments) to support portfolio research and manager due diligence in a 36-month hybrid role based in New York City, starting July 2027 with possible extension to July 2033.

The Analyst will assist across asset classes, sourcing and analyzing managers, monitoring performance, and contributing to risk and allocation discussions within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent with strong academic performance.
• 2–4 years related professional experience.
• Interest in investments across asset classes and portfolio management.
• Strong quantitative and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Support analysis and research across asset classes for the IMC portfolio.
• Assist with manager screening, due diligence, and performance analysis.
• Monitor managers and contribute to ongoing research and insights.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external fund managers and consultants.
• Contribute to asset allocation discussions and risk analysis.
