Job summary

Callan is seeking a Performance Analyst to join our Client Report Services (CRS) team in Portland, OR or Chicago, IL. You will calculate and verify portfolio returns and characteristics, then produce investment measurement reports for client portfolios.

This role offers a hybrid schedule with approximately two days in the office each week. The ideal candidate has an interest in investments and data analysis, strong time management, and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, statistics, mathematics or related field.
• 0–2 years experience; new graduates encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with institutional investment markets encouraged.
• Self-motivated, accurate, detail-oriented, and able to work independently under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and verify portfolio returns and characteristics from custodial statements.
• Reconcile returns with investment managers.
• Obtain client information from managers/recordkeepers.
• Generate portfolio characteristics and verify dividends/capital changes.
• Produce investment measurement reports and respond to client requests.
• Interact with clients and consultants on report content.
