Job summary

UVIMCO in Charlottesville, VA seeks an Operations Analyst to join its investment operations team. You will engage in cash management, investment accounting, valuation, and reporting, working closely with internal and external stakeholders including the University, investment managers, and custodians.

The role requires a degree in accounting/finance and 1–2 years of relevant experience. A collaborative, detail-oriented approach and strong communication skills are essential in a fast-paced

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field.
1–2 years of relevant professional experience preferred; internships may be considered.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Cash Management & Reconciliation: prepare and distribute daily cash reports and resolve discrepancies with custodians.
Investment Accounting, Valuation, & Reporting: prepare statements, support inquiries, assist with pricing/valuation and reporting.
Audit, Tax, & Operational Support: assist with annual audit, tax processing, and IT systems initiatives.
