Job summary

RPM Living in Austin, TX is seeking an Investment Analyst to support acquisition and investor relations. You will work with the COO of Investments on a $5+ billion multifamily portfolio, perform analytics, and help manage the investor relations program end-to-end.

The role involves coordinating with lenders, legal counsel, and internal teams, maintaining investor materials, and contributing to marketing efforts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably in the multifamily investment space.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Work with COO of Investments and assist in oversight and management of $5+ Billion multifamily portfolio.
  • Assist with portfolio level analytics and strategic analysis.
  • Support execution of the firm's investor relations strategy, including investor onboarding, communications, reporting, distributions, and responding to investor inquiries with a high level of service.
  • Maintain and update investor-facing materials, CRM systems, and internal databases
  • Assist in managing the firm’s transactional pipeline and related workflows
  • Support new investments through entity formation, EIN/tax ID procurement, and organizational chart development and maintenance - among other things.
  • Assist in reviewing tax, insurance, and title/survey materials for new acquisition opportunities, as needed
  • Contribute to the preparation of investment marketing materials for both internal and external use
  • Coordinate with third-party partners, including lenders, legal counsel, and other service providers
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Acquisitions, Asset Management, Legal, and Management teams
  • Provide ad hoc analysis, reporting, and operational support as needed
  • Effectively communicate and interact with senior leadership

Position Summary

Education And Experience


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Communications, Marketing, or a related field

  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably in the multifamily investment space

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Proactive problem-solver with strong analytical capabilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with InDesign, Yardi, CRM platforms, or other real estate software is a plus

  • Demonstrated willingness to learn, grow, and continuously improve efficiency and effectiveness

  • Successful Skilled with PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Skilled in InDesign, Yardi, CRM platform, or other real estate-based software a plus

  • Ability to adapt to change with a commitment to professional developmentSeeks and acquires new competencies, work methods, ideas, and information that will improve own efficiency and effectiveness on the job

Physical Requirements


  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time

  • Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data

  • Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer

  • May occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 pounds

  • Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment


Work Environment


  • This is an onsite role requiring the associate to work in one of our corporate or regional offices five days a week.

  • The office is an open setting which may include bright lights, constant noises and distractions.
