Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking a highly motivated Investment Grade Trader (Analyst/Associate) based in New York to contribute to the Global Corporate Credit portfolio management and trading activities.

You will work with credit PMs and analysts to identify value opportunities, execute trades, and monitor risk across diverse portfolios while collaborating with sell-side desks to optimize market access.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in fixed income trading or related analytical roles.
• Solid understanding of global fixed income and credit markets.
• Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities for modeling and risk.
• Clear verbal and written communication to stakeholders.
• Proactive, results-driven and resilient in a fast-paced trading env.
• Asset management experience is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with credit PMs and research analysts to identify value in investment-grade bonds.
• Analyze and execute security selection and relative value strategies.
• Construct and monitor credit risk exposures and cash flows across portfolios.
• Maintain relationships with sell-side desks and syndicate teams for execution.
• Formulate recommendations, allocate capital, and execute trades efficiently.
• Enhance and maintain proprietary trading tools and data integrity.
