Role Overview

Initio Sphere is onboarding Investment Discovery Partners to identify, evaluate, and introduce high-potential investment opportunities to our investor and fund manager network.

This is not an employment role. Investment Discovery Partners operate as independent contractors and are activated through a verification and approval process.

Once approved, Partners:

Source and submit off-market or proprietary investment opportunities

Work directly with capital allocators and deal sponsors on live opportunities

Earn performance-based compensation for transactions that close

Build a verified track record of sourced deals within the Initio Sphere ecosystem

This role is ideal for professionals who are well-connected, market-aware, and close to active deal flow, including operators, advisors, brokers, and intermediaries.

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Approved Investment Discovery Partners may:

Source proprietary or semi-proprietary investment opportunities

Introduce deals to Initio Sphere’s investor and sponsor network

Provide high-level deal context (asset, structure, size, economics, investment thesis)

Coordinate initial introductions between deal principals and capital partners

Support early-stage diligence handoff (analysts handle modeling, valuation, and underwriting)

Partners are not responsible for:

Financial modeling or underwriting

Preparing investment memoranda

Providing investment advice

Based on approval, Investment Discovery Partners may submit opportunities across:

Private equity and growth equity transactions

Operating businesses and special situations

Structured, opportunistic, or distressed investments

Deal categories are approved based on experience, sourcing credibility, and access to proprietary opportunities.

Compensation & Economics

Partners earn success-based compensation only

Typical earnings range from $1,000 to $10,000+ per closed deal

Payments issued upon successful transaction close and fee collection

Exact economics vary by deal size, structure, and Partner contribution
